General Fittings’ production process is structured to ensure continuity, efficiency and consistent quality, thanks to clear department organisation and direct control of every phase.
Raw materials and preparation
Production starts with the selection of high-quality brass bars, stored and managed in-house to ensure traceability and production continuity. Raw materials are prepared for subsequent processing stages according to rigorous standards.
Production machining
Components are manufactured in the TRANSFER and MULTI-SPINDLE departments using different machining processes selected according to geometries and application requirements. Production departments are organised to ensure precision, reliability and repeatability through automated, controlled processes.
In-house pre-setting department
A dedicated department prepares equipment and continuously supports production lines, ensuring fast set-up, tool control and operational continuity.
Assembly, packaging and logistics
Conforming products move to the assembly departments, organised in dedicated islands by product family. The flow is completed with packaging, carried out with automatic and semi-automatic systems that ensure traceability and order up to the shipping stage.
The production process is closely integrated with the logistics hub, enabling smooth handling of materials and finished products from production to storage and distribution.
