General Fittings is founded in Marcheno, in Val Trompia. The company starts producing brass fittings, immediately establishing the value of Made in Italy in the plumbing and heating sector.
After years of steady growth, in 1998 General Fittings moves to Gussago. The new plant enables a significant expansion of production capacity and marks the start of large-scale in-house manufacturing, strengthening supply-chain control and improving efficiency and quality.
Expansion of the plant and warehouse and achievement of ISO 9001 certification, attesting to a structured Quality Management System recognised internationally.
Trident is launched: the first press-fitting system for multilayer pipes suitable for water, gas and heating—versatile, reliable and 100% Made in Italy.
General Fittings obtains the Made in Italy certification issued by KIWA Cermet Italia, confirming the authenticity and Italian origin of its products. A recognition that strengthens General Fittings’ industrial identity and the value of production fully carried out in Italy.
Tritone is introduced: an all-in-one patented mixing unit that enables independent temperature control on each circuit, introducing a new approach to thermoregulation and system control.
General Fittings enters the underfloor heating market with the VARMO line, expanding its offer towards complete, integrated radiant solutions.
The company celebrates 40 years of activity with the slogan YOUNIQUE ITALIAN, a symbol of identity and shared vision.
In 2022, FLEXUS 90 is launched, an evolution of the FLEXUS manifolds, designed to deliver greater flexibility and safety during installation. In 2023, THOR is introduced: a stainless-steel manifold line for underfloor heating and cooling systems, featuring high performance and long-lasting durability.
General Fittings’ new logistics hub goes into operation, designed to improve efficiency, organisation and distribution capacity. In the same year, the company obtains ISO 14001 environmental certification, confirming its commitment to sustainable production processes.
In 2025, the assembly and packaging departments are moved to the new logistics hub, into a dedicated 4,000 m² area. A strategic step that includes new machinery and redesigned workflows, increasing efficiency, flexibility and precision to support future growth.
