Vallivo museum in San Martino
The Vallivo Museum, founded in the late 1970s, is located in the charming village of San Martino, in the province of Sondrio. The museum offers visitors a fascinating journey into the everyday life of mountain communities in the early 20th century, thanks to the faithful reconstruction of a typical home from that period. Inside, visitors can admire faunistic and mineralogical collections, as well as a valuable collection of war artifacts dating back to the First World War.
The museum recently underwent a major renovation, strongly promoted by the local municipal administration and carried out with the contribution of numerous local volunteers, with the aim of further enhancing this important cultural heritage.
To improve the efficiency of the heating system without compromising the historic structure, the VARMO DRY underfloor radiant panel was selected, combined with ODINO series 6500 brass manifolds. The entire system was specifically designed to facilitate the renovation process without removing the existing flooring or carrying out invasive demolition work.
This solution made it possible to avoid prolonged museum closures and the relocation of exhibited items, while ensuring an efficient, discreet heating system that fully respects the historical value of the building.
