The KRÚDY Residential Park, completed in 2019, is located in the historic city of Szombathely, the oldest city in Hungary and the capital of Vas County. This modern residential development comprises 150 apartments, designed to deliver high levels of comfort and energy efficiency.
The heating system is based on district heating, which ensures a continuous and reliable supply of both space heating and domestic hot water for each residential unit. Thanks to this centralized solution, thermal energy is provided externally through an efficient and sustainable network, resulting in reduced energy consumption and a lower environmental impact.
To ensure optimal management and distribution of thermal energy, each floor of the building is equipped with a dedicated mechanical room, housing the district heating regulation and control systems. These technical rooms allow precise and reliable modulation of the thermal flow, adapting it to the specific requirements of each level.
In addition, each apartment is fitted with an individual heat meter, an essential device that enables accurate monitoring of energy consumption for both heating and domestic hot water.
For the installation of the systems, brass fittings and multilayer pipe press fittings from General Fittings were selected, specifically SAFE_PRESS 5T00 series fittings, chosen for their reliability, performance, and long-term durability.
